Lensman: Quick Photoshoot Of My R34

The past few weeks have been extremely busy for me between work, various other things, and of course doing stuff with my newly-arrived R34 GT-R - not the least of which is repeatedly getting into debates with the local DMV about the registration process. Yes, you'd think having received the blessing of the Almighty Fed it would be plain sailing to convince your state to give you a license plate but I should have known it wouldn't be that simple.

But that's a tale for another blog post. You gotta make the best with what you got especially in these current troubled times of ours where plagues are besetting us, people are rioting in the streets, dogs and cats are living together, and fire and brimstone are coming down from the skies...no wait, sorry, that last one is just a normal Arizona summer, my bad. Anyway, I thought it would be a good distraction to do a photoshoot of my new baby and the other day I spotted an opportunity that I had to take advantage of before it could pass by.

That fleeting opportunity was why I woke up yesterday at a totally ungodly hour and found myself in the middle of a hay field. Yeah, trying to think straight and be creative while lacking sleep and before any sort of morning sustenance wasn't exactly fun but it wasn't unfun either so I hope you like the end result.

Needless to say I'm very happy and excited that Astrid, my dear R34, got successfully imported. She's been a huge bright spot for me in a period where all of us around the globe have been seeing one dark tiding after another. I hope today's photos convey some of my happiness and excitement and just maybe they can help brighten your day as well. Take care out there and see you at the next blog post!
