Post-R's Day and JCCS 2023 Photoshoot
Last year was eventful for me because as I posted here before I was finally able to reach my goal of taking my seemingly forever incomplete Nismo R32 to Japanese Classic Car Show where it was able to snag third place in the "Best Nissan Neo Skyline" category. Not bad for a once dusty, neglected car that used to have JDM-spec garden hose cluttering the engine bay, wonky brakes, and an interior with stains whose origins are probably best left unknown.
A few weeks later it was the R34's turn for some attention as I finally had the chance to attend R's Day again. This time it was at Willow Springs and for the first time I'd be on a race track in an R34 that wasn't made up of pixels generated by a video game console. Needless to say it was a blast and showed that the past two decades haven't dulled the abilities of the last RB26-powered GT-R.
Before I took off the race number stickers from the R34 I took some time that winter to do a photoshoot just like I did with my R35 after it attended the very first R's Day at Laguna Seca. While shooting the R34 I snuck in the R32 for at least one shot of both of my babies together after their eventful outings.
Unfortunately life keeps getting in the way of my photo editing so the shots from that day sat untouched on my hard drive for months until I recently found some time to work on them. Thankfully they're finally worthy of presentation so I hope you like how they turned out. As my cousin's Ovrdue brand (gratuitous plug there) would say "Always late, but worth the wait!" Enjoy!
